I am\u00a0looking for motivated PhD students to join the DefMal group<\/a> at LORIA<\/a> located at Nancy, France. The\u00a0topic of the PhD project is\u00a0quite\u00a0flexible but should relate to my current research directions in malware. Here possible directions are reverse engineering, function similarities, malware detection, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LORIA is one of the main French Computer Science research laboratories in the lively city of Nancy. LORIA is a joint research institution of CNRS, Inria and the Universit\u00e9 de Lorraine. LORIA strives to provide a family-friendly work environment hosting researchers from more than 50 countries.\u00a0\u00a0LORIA is devoted to cutting-edge research in computer science and technology transfer and one of the major academic cybersecurity research institutes in France. High Security Lab provides quite a unique research platform for cybersecurity and malware research with several fruitful collaborations\u00a0and opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studentships are open to home and international students and are fully funded for three years by the five-year national project DefMal project (PEPR Cybersecurity, France 2030).\u00a0In addition, the research group provides funding for attending conferences.
